Katona takes aim at Jolie, Pitt

Kerry Katona has blasted Angelina Jolie for buying her seven-year-old son Maddox a knife.

OK! quotes the reality star as saying: "My daughter Molly is the same age and I would never even think about doing the same.

"I hate knives. Just because Angelina's mum took her to buy daggers when she was 11, it doesn’t mean she has to encourage her own kids."

She continued: "She is totally wrong for Brad."

Earlier in the week, Katona appeared disorientated and erratic during an interview on ITV's This Morning.

Angelina Jolie, Microsoft team up for immigrant kids’ rights

Angelina Jolie, Microsoft Corp., law firms and corporate law departments are teaming up to create a legal system for children of parents involved in U.S. immigration proceedings.

The Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) will provide pro bono legal defense for unaccompanied children, according to the Redmond computer giant (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Jolie, a celebrity actress also known for her humanitarian work.

“Through our support of KIND, we hope to inspire the participation of many more representatives of our legal community to offer these children the fundamental protection they need. Every lawyer has a professional responsibility to provide pro bono legal services to those unable to pay,” said Brad Smith, Microsoft’s general counsel, in a statement.

Jolie said that the U.S. provides no lawyers for children of parents involved in immigration court proceedings.

“These children often have nothing; no money, no support and no family, yet they come to America seeking its promises of a better life. But many end up becoming lost, traumatized, and ultimately forgotten,” Jolie said in a statement.

So far, KIND has received more than $2 million in donations, and more than 25 law firms and corporate law departments have committed to contributing more than 13,000 pro bono hours during KIND’s first year of operation. The organization will be based in Washington, D.C.

Angelina Jolie To Regain Curves For New Tomb Raider Movie?

Angelina Jolie is reportedly fending off offers to return to the big screen as shapely video game character Lara Croft.

Angelina – who gave birth to twins Vivienne and Knox in July - starred in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and then reprised the role in 2003 sequel The Cradle Of Life.

Since then Angelina's acting career has been overshadowed by her work with the UN and her ever-expanding family with partner Brad Pitt.

With a new Tomb Raider game ready to hit stores in winter, movie bosses apparently feel this could be the role that sets the yummy mummy back on track, career wise.

A source says, "Lara is such a fantastic character and the games lend themselves to movies so well.

"Even though the first two movies were not very well received, there is still a lot of confidence in Lara and Tomb Raider as a franchise."

"The producers would dearly love to get Angelina back in the role and the door is being left open to her. This would be a far darker movie with a lot more emphasis on storyline."
