Jennifer Aniston worried about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

JENNIFER Aniston was so worried about Brad Pitt toting Angelina Jolie around on the promo circuit, she had her agent fix her up with a Plan B boyfriend, say reports.
When Aniston and Mayer broke up a few months ago, she reportedly asked her agent to get her a "Plan B" boyfriend, so when she's doing the promo rounds for her upcoming movies, Marley & Me and He's Just Not that Into You, she won't be doing them solo.

According to gossip websites including Hollyscoop.com and the NY Post, "She didn't want to face the glare of being unattached while Brad Pitt toted Angelina Jolie around on the promotional rounds for his release of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

"Aniston did not want to be single when her movie opened," one source said. A friend of her agent was calling around asking for young men whom they could set her up with.

When Mayer came back around, her camp abandoned their search for a new fake boyfriend.

Jolie dazzles with white dress

London (IANS): Superstar actress Angelina Jolie dazzled crowds when she wore a white L'Wren Scott dress for the premiere of her partner Brad Pitt's new movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" in New Orleans recently.

According to thesun.co.uk, Pitt sported a moustache and was dressed in a designer three-piece suit with a tie-shirt combo. He grew the moustache for a role in the new movie "Inglorious Basterds", directed by Quentin Tarantino. But all attention was on Jolie for the event.

Angelina the press puppeteer

Pick up one of the innumerable lifestyle magazines around the world, and chances are you'll find a story that is positively glowing in its depiction of super couple Angelina Jolie [Images] and Brad Pitt [Images], aka Brangalina.

To be sure, it's been a long road to the top for Angelina: she's been, alternately, (1) the wild child of a famous actor, a relationship torn asunder by enmity (2) the little-bit-too-open lover of a couple of Hollywood badboys and (3) the lady who tore apart Hollywood's First Couple -- Jennifer Aniston [Images] and Brad Pitt.

And that's not the half of it: teenaged drug use, vials of blood exchanged as wedding vows, public kisses, lesbian lovers, secret sex rooms and more.

But, lately, it's as if the luscious-lipped, luminescent-eyed woman can do no wrong. Her every mention is accompanied by effusive praise of her uber-beautiful family, her acting prowess, her taste in French Chateaus and, last but not least, her charitable works.

Turns out, there's a reason for all that positive coverage, and it's a tad bit sinister.

Sources in the magazine world have raised the alarm that Angelina is strong-arming the press into positive coverage, by withholding the intimate access they need to push copies, unless they sign agreements assuring Angelina her carefully crafted image will be maintained.

For example, it's been reported that after the recent birth of twins Knox and Vivienne, the Brangelina offered the first photographs of their newborns for the ludicrous price-tag of almost Rs 70 crore; but get this -- in addition to the oodles and oodles of cash, the couple wanted a hand in the editorial content, journalistic sacrilege!

People magazine, which won the bid and ponied up the cash, of course has denied this agreement. What happened in those shady, smoke-filled backrooms, we'll never know. Only People does. But we do know is that the issue in question was the best-selling for People in seven years. The lesson learned? It pays to play Angelina's game.

So, of course, some have been willing to go along with the charades; the US publishing industry has taken a woeful turn for the worst in recent years and mags need all the exclusive, big-time stories they can get, even if they must sacrifice journalistic integrity in the process.

So, this week, as you read interviews about Angelina's new film, Clint Eastwood's Changeling, keep in mind that the content has likely been adulterated and altered to fit Ms Jolie's marketing image de jour. Kinda takes the fun out of it, doesn't it?

Angelina Jolie’s public image

“When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt negotiated with People and other celebrity magazines this summer for photos of their newborn twins and an interview,” said Brooks Barnes in The New York Times, it wasn’t just an estimated $14 million that they wanted: Ms. Jolie asked for “a hefty slice of journalistic input—a promise that the winning magazine’s coverage would be positive, not merely in that instance but into the future.”

It is kind of interesting, said Perez Hilton, that Jolie “was once known for making out with her brother, wearing blood around her neck, and confessing to pre-red carpet limo shenanigans.” Now she seems to be thought of as “a sparkling goddess of maternity and philanthropy.” If this is a result of “careful media manipulation,” it’s not surprising—but it could also be looked at as a shrewd business move.

“Celebrities like Jolie get admiration for such effective flacking,” said Ryan Tate in Gawker, “which in this case worked not only on People but Us Weekly and others.” But the publications come off looking “more and more like publicity brochures crafted by the celebrities they cover, and increasingly undifferentiated from the morass of celebrity coverage online.”

Angelina Jolie happy with Brad, Kids

Melbourne (ANI): Managing a demanding profession like acting along with six kids can be stressful for anyone, but that's not the case with Angelina Jolie. The stunner insists that motherhood and life with partner Brad Pitt is 'beautiful' and she couldn't be 'happier'.

The actress, who is playing a distressed mother in her new film Changeling, says that in real life, she is quite happy with life on the personal front. "This is such a beautiful time for me," Herald Sun quoted her as saying.

She added: "When I look back on my life, I never really believed that I would find this kind of happiness on so many different levels. I think I trained myself to expect less, but meeting Brad and being with him has shown me that sometimes it just takes the right circumstances for you to meet a good man who enjoys being with you and working towards the same goals in life. Brad has always been there for me."

The Changeling is a searing drama based on the true story of a child's disappearance in 1928 and his mother's struggle to discover the truth.

Angelina Jolie: ‘We'll definitely have more’ kids

LOS ANGELES - Running after her little ones may be how Angelina Jolie gets her exercise, but she’s glad she has Brad Pitt to join her.

“I have a great partner,” the world-famous mom told Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell at the “Kung Fu Panda” DVD release party at the Mann Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. “He’s the best daddy and we have fun, so whenever it gets hard we can just look at each other and find a way to laugh about and just appreciate that they’re only little once, and we should enjoy every minute.”

Angie credited her energetic brood with her svelte physique after the birth of twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. “I’m running around after six of them,” she told Nancy. “Swimming with the kids a little and things like that, [too].”

And, she told Access, there are more to come.

“Anything could happen,” she said. “We’re open to anything, we love kids and we’re having a great time… It’s chaos in our house, but it’s so much fun. We’ll definitely have more.”

With “Kung Fu Panda 2” in the works, Angelina said another pregnancy wouldn’t interfere with her role as Tigress.

“It’s the action movie I can do with a giant belly, so we’re good,” she said.

Her role in the animated film has made her a star at home, too.

“I’m a big hit at the house,” she said. “It’s cool that I’m Tigress.” While it sounds like she and Brad have things handled at home, if she ever needs another set of hands – or paws — around the house, she can look to her “Panda” co-star, Jack Black, who told Nancy he would volunteer to babysit.

“If she asks, yeah, I will be ready,” Jack said.

Katona takes aim at Jolie, Pitt

Kerry Katona has blasted Angelina Jolie for buying her seven-year-old son Maddox a knife.

OK! quotes the reality star as saying: "My daughter Molly is the same age and I would never even think about doing the same.

"I hate knives. Just because Angelina's mum took her to buy daggers when she was 11, it doesn’t mean she has to encourage her own kids."

She continued: "She is totally wrong for Brad."

Earlier in the week, Katona appeared disorientated and erratic during an interview on ITV's This Morning.

Angelina Jolie, Microsoft team up for immigrant kids’ rights

Angelina Jolie, Microsoft Corp., law firms and corporate law departments are teaming up to create a legal system for children of parents involved in U.S. immigration proceedings.

The Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) will provide pro bono legal defense for unaccompanied children, according to the Redmond computer giant (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Jolie, a celebrity actress also known for her humanitarian work.

“Through our support of KIND, we hope to inspire the participation of many more representatives of our legal community to offer these children the fundamental protection they need. Every lawyer has a professional responsibility to provide pro bono legal services to those unable to pay,” said Brad Smith, Microsoft’s general counsel, in a statement.

Jolie said that the U.S. provides no lawyers for children of parents involved in immigration court proceedings.

“These children often have nothing; no money, no support and no family, yet they come to America seeking its promises of a better life. But many end up becoming lost, traumatized, and ultimately forgotten,” Jolie said in a statement.

So far, KIND has received more than $2 million in donations, and more than 25 law firms and corporate law departments have committed to contributing more than 13,000 pro bono hours during KIND’s first year of operation. The organization will be based in Washington, D.C.

Angelina Jolie To Regain Curves For New Tomb Raider Movie?

Angelina Jolie is reportedly fending off offers to return to the big screen as shapely video game character Lara Croft.

Angelina – who gave birth to twins Vivienne and Knox in July - starred in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and then reprised the role in 2003 sequel The Cradle Of Life.

Since then Angelina's acting career has been overshadowed by her work with the UN and her ever-expanding family with partner Brad Pitt.

With a new Tomb Raider game ready to hit stores in winter, movie bosses apparently feel this could be the role that sets the yummy mummy back on track, career wise.

A source says, "Lara is such a fantastic character and the games lend themselves to movies so well.

"Even though the first two movies were not very well received, there is still a lot of confidence in Lara and Tomb Raider as a franchise."

"The producers would dearly love to get Angelina back in the role and the door is being left open to her. This would be a far darker movie with a lot more emphasis on storyline."

Cruise out, Jolie in

Whaaaaat?

It's not that uncommon for a project to go from one high-paid star to another, but it's rare for the star to change gender (without makeup or other procedure).
But now Angelina Jolie is stepping in for Tom Cruise on the much-buzzed spy thriller EDWIN A. SALT. Philip Noyce (A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER) is still attached to direct the script from Kurt Wimmer (EQUILIBRIUM), which will get a new title (duh) and a few other alterations to accomodate the sudden breasts.

Jolie will play a CIA officer accused of being a Russian sleeper spy and must evade capture long enough to prove her innocence, which will presumably inolve shooting and hitting numerous people. The perception is that her sweaty form helped catapult the flashy flick WANTED to its brawny box office take, so putting her in another action lead seems like a safe bet.
Cruise, meanwhile, is reportedly looking for another comedy after getting positive notices for his part in TROPIC THUNDER.

Jolie, newborn twins leave hospital

BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Angelina Jolie and her newborn twins left the maternity clinic in the south of France on Saturday where she gave birth a week ago, according to media reports.

Jolie, 33, left the clinic in the Riviera city of Nice before dawn, avoiding photographers who have been massed outside.
Associated Press Television cameras outside the hospital filmed a large white van with tinted windows leaving one of the hospital's back entrances at that time.

The twins, a boy and a girl, named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, "were doing perfectly well," said the statement issued by the clinic.
Jolie checked into the hospital on July 2.

The local newspaper has reported that an unnamed U.S. publication has paid 11 million U.S. dollars for exclusive rights to the first photos of the Jolie-Pitt twins and that the proceeds will go to charity.

A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages

Few among us would describe Angelina Jolie as a saintly figure. But her famously telegenic flesh plays canvas to tattooed prayers from religions as varied as her children's birth countries. In his weekly look at the sound bites of our times, Stephen Marche deconstructs a tattooed verse from the nape of her angelic neck There are several prayers tattooed on Angelina Jolie's body. In four long strands along her back runs a Buddhist incantation in Pali, written in Khmer script, whose effectiveness cannot be doubted: "Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you." Over her abdomen runs the trite Latin saw, "Quod me nutrit me destruit," which translates roughly as "what nourishes me destroys me." On the bump of spine below her neck, the title of a Clash album in a rather tacky Gothic font intones "Know Your Rights." "A Prayer for the Wild at Heart, Kept in Cages," the quotation on her left arm, is the subtitle of a little known and hugely overearnest young play by Tennessee Williams, Stairs to the Roof. The latest additions to Jolie's skin text are tributes to Winston Churchill, one on each arm: Toil and Tears. Blood and Sweat apparently didn't make the cut. And soon enough Jolie will have the numbers 43.41.21N 7.14.29E added to the repertoire. Those are the co-ordinates of the Lenval hospital in Nice, where she gave birth last week to her almost appropriately named twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Jolie has tattoos of the longitude and latitude of her other four children's birthplaces over the spot where a dragon was once dedicated to Billy Bob Thornton, but twins pose a complicated problem: Should she have the co-ordinates tattooed once or twice?

Tattoos might once have been considered wild but they're now the kind of physical decoration you wouldn't be surprised to find on the neck of your bank manager. Tattooing cannot be defined (and hence dismissed) as a trend because it is both so ancient and so modern--predating cities and starring on the bodies of the world's most of-the-moment celebrities. Readable text on bodies, however, is a break both from tattooing ancient forms and from its modern purposes: Text written on bodies has historically been a tool for marking fugitives, the sign of the criminal or the slave, the opposite of self-definition or personal expression.

Meaning itself becomes image on Jolie's body. The heart of sense is sacrificed for the shapeliness of sentiment. The power of the words is drained by their placement on her body, evidence of their own ability to be replaced. The aura of profundity devolves into a radioactive superficiality.
Jolie kept her tattoos for Wanted, maybe the stupidest film ever made about assassins and the other major Jolie release of the summer. The filmmakers even added a few temporary tattoos to aid her pouty killer aesthetic. The movie unfortunately means the trend of tattoo text will soon spread even more deeply into the mainstream. I'm tempted simply to call Wanted a pile of crap, but, when you think about it, a pile of crap is evidence of the proper digestion of wholesome substance from which good things can grow, none of which is true of Wanted. Wanted is debased enough to treat a story about the transformation of a gentle accountant into a ruthless assassin as a triumph of the possibilities of humanity; ordinary existence can only be a horrifying waste of time is its basic theme. Angelina Jolie is the perfect embodiment of this rejection of the quotidian. She is the celebrity as cartoon character, closer to Bugs Bunny than Grace Kelly. The archetypes in her affair with Brad Pitt, stealing Mr. America from The Girl Next Door, were only prologue to the unreality of her current family, a multicultural brood of stylish kids straight out of X-men or Josephine Baker. The twins no doubt will only contribute to the otherworldly effect. As will the tattoos yet to come.

Spammers tout 'nude' Angelina Jolie pix

Antivirus experts have warned of a new wave of spam messages that use fake events related to Angelina Jolie in order to trick users into downloading and installing malware. Researchers at Romanian firm BitDefender said that this latest campaign is mostly carried via spam messages based around alleged adult video footage of the movie star. In order to watch the 'movie', users have to download a file called 'video-nude-anjelina.avi.exe' which is infected with Trojan.Agent.AGGZ.

The spam message comprises an explicit image of Jolie, along with text claiming that the email has been sent as part of the MSN Featured Offers programme.
The message attempts to play a double role by trying to trick the user into thinking that this is a legitimate news message and by preventing spam filters from labelling the entire email as spam. "The spam wave is part of a larger category of unsolicited messages that rely on social engineering techniques in order to lure unwary users into installing Trojans," said Vlad Valceanu, head of BitDefender anti-spam research.

"This type of attack seems to be extremely successful, as the number of messages has quickly escalated over the last couple months.
"In order to achieve their goals, spammers usually rely on international celebrities and their pictures, along with catchy yet fake news leads." This is not the only incident involving Jolie. The actress recently gave birth to two children, and spammers took advantage of the event in order to infect more computers. The spam campaign following the event announced that Jolie gave birth to no fewer than five children, and even offered users a link to a website allegedly hosting a small video of the event.

Once on the respective page, users were shown an image masquerading as a Flash video player.
But when the user landed on the compromised webpage, the download started immediately without any user intervention - a procedure also known as drive-by download. The binary file was infected with Trojan.Downloader.Exchanger.Gen.1, a piece of malware that has been widely used in another spam campaign promoting an alleged antivirus utility called Antivirus XP 2008.

Jolie took action movie to recover from mum's death

Washington (ANI): Angelina Jolie admits that she signed up for her new action movie Wanted to recover from her mom's death. The Oscar winner says she took up the role because she was sliding into depression and needed something to keep her physically busy, reports Contactmusic.

"My mother had just passed away and I wanted to do something physical to get it out of my head for a while," she said. "I felt I was going into a very dark place and I wasn't capable of getting up in the morning, so I signed up for something that would force me to be active."

Jolie's mum Marcheline Bertrand died of cancer in February last year (07). The actress is currently in hospital as she awaits the birth of her twins with actor Brad Pitt. The new babies will take the number of the Jolie-Pitt clan to six. The A-list celeb couple already have four kids sons Maddox and Pax, and daughters Zahara and Shiloh.

Jolie loves rolling around on the floor with Pit

Cast member Angelina Jolie attends a news conference for the film "The Exchange" by U.S. director Clint Eastwood at the 61st Cannes Film Festival May 20, 2008. [Agencies] Angelina Jolie loves "rolling around on the floor" with Brad Pitt. The actress - who played Brad's onscreen love interest in 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' - insists shooting steamy scenes with other Hollywood hunks will never compare to being with long-term partner Brad. She said: "Well, you know Brad was... I'll always prefer rolling around on the floor with him than any other man. You know, in general." Angelina - who plays an assassin in new movie 'Wanted' - also revealed she and Brad bonded over their love of guns and often go to the shooting range together.

She explained: "I mean, obviously, there's a part of me that takes the world of violence and death very seriously. "However, when it comes to protection or when it comes to just the skill of shooting. I've gone to the range with sniper rifles and things like that. Brad and I both like it a lot. That is something we have in common."
The 33-year-old actress - who has four children with Brad and is expected to give birth to twins later this month - was thrilled to land a role in 'Wanted' and hopes to follow in Harrison Ford's footsteps by filming her own stunts for years to come. She added to MTV: "I was itching to do something that was physical, because I had done some emotional films and I had been at home with the kids. "I think there's always going to be a side of me that wants to make action movies, you know, for as long as I can. Harrison Ford is doing it, and he's doing it well. It looks like I've got some more time."

Angelina Jolie, Adoption is a Gift

In the current issue of Vanity Fair, Angelina Jolie talks candidly about her relationship with Brad Pitt, her kids and adoption, religion and the name 'Shiloh'. The photo spread is great. In one pic, Jolie poses in a green wig! It was her idea! When the photos where taken it was January and she was just about two month preggers! That's why there's no baby bump! Jolie says although she and Brad Pitt aren't married, they feel married.

She tells Rich Cohen, who did the interview with her, "We both have been married before, and it’s very easy to get married, but it’s not easy to build a family and be parents together. And maybe we’ve done it backwards, but we certainly feel married".
As for kids and adoption, she says: "Adoption is not a humanitarian thing, because i don't see it as a sacrifice. It's a gift". It's amazing seeing things through her eyes.

Both Jolie and Pitt have somewhat different take on religion, here's what she said about it:
"Brad got me this great thing for Christmas. It’s a bookshelf that has a book on every religion. That’s how we plan to raise our kids. Teach them about all religions. They can pick one or be a student of all of them. We’ll celebrate Kwanzaa for our girl. We’ll celebrate moon and water festivals for our boys. We’ll take them to temples in certain countries. Also to church."

As for little Shiloh, who'd they come up wit that name?
Jolie explains: "It’s a biblical name, but we didn’t name her for that. It was a name my parents almost named their first child - there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name my parents could come up with. It’s a name I always liked. I used to go under it in hotels: Shiloh Baptist. I’d gone under it when [Brad] called hotel rooms where I was staying."

JOLIE GOOD NEWS

ANGELINA JOLIE is expecting twins - and now the whole world knows it, whether the actress likes it or not. Jolie's bump became the talk of Cannes yesterday when her Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black unwittingly revealed her news during an interview on the Today show, saying: "You're gonna have as many as [the] Brady Bunch when you have these."

Back on the red carpets, Fernando Meirelles' film Blindness drew the biggest crowd, as predicted, with leading lady Julianne Moore joined by Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Devon Aoki, Mischa Barton, Bar Rafaelli - who looked stunning in a lilac Alberta Ferretti gown - and Eva Longoria, who wore turquoise Versace.

Event of the evening went to Chopard's beach party with Alberta Ferretti, where actress-turned-rockstar Juliette Lewis danced the night away in a Twenties-style fringed Ferretti minidress.

Jolie's drug tape fetches 70000 dollars

Melbourne (ANI): A videotape allegedly showing Angelina Jolie snorting heroin is being auctioned on the internet for a whopping 70,000 dollars. A source told the National Enquirer that the tape appeared to be from the 1990s before Jolie became famous. "It appears to be from the 1990s, right beforeAngelina then in her 20s - was breaking out in films like Gia and Girl, Interrupted, which won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress," the Daily Telegraph quoted the source, as telling the tabloid.

"The key part of the tape is Angelina doing heroin. She says, 'Wow, this is really good smack not that cheap crap that's been stepped on.' "Angelina is seen sniffing white lines from a plate, and then as the drug cooks on tinfoil, she deeply sucks in its smoke through a tube," the source added. Jolie, currently expecting her second child with partner Brad Pitt, has herself admitted taking drugs in the past.
However, she also insists that her drug-taking days have long been over. "I've done coke, heroin, ecstasy, LSD everything. I hate heroin because I've been fascinated with it. I'm not immune, but I won't do it now, at all," she has said.

Porn charges follow hunt for Jolie nudes

A MAN'S quest for pictures of actress Angelina Jolie in the nude has left him facing jail for child pornography offences.

John Martin Cheney is awaiting sentencing in the District Court for possessing 179 illegal images.
Lawyer Stephen Ey today said his client's downfall came in June 2007, when he searched the internet for "adult, legal porn". "He was depressed, he had been drinking too much, he'd had an operation on his genitals and he had too much time on his hands," he said.

"He was looking for Angelina Jolie... these pop-up (advertisements) occurred and he accessed them out of curiousity."
Cheney, 43, of South Plympton, originally faced seven charges – five were dropped in a plea bargain with prosecutors. He admitted one count of possession, and one count of aggravated possession of child pornography. Today, Mr Ey said his client had co-operated with police, written letters of apology and expressed his remorse to a psychologist.

"He told the doctor 'I'm very sorry about what I've done, I've caused a great deal of stress and embarrassment'," he said.
"He said 'I feel for children who are victims of sexual abuse and exploitation'." Ian Press, prosecuting, said he would not oppose Cheney's jail term being suspended.

However, he doubted the sincerity of his remorse.
"Psychological reports show he is still, to some degree, in denial as to the harm this type of offending does," he said. "In one breath he appears to accept he has problem, in another he will try to justify or minimise his culpability." Mr Ey said he could explain the seeming contradiction. "My client is not a rocket scientist," he said. "His ability to express himself, on occasion, might account for the swings in his coming to grips with his offence."

"You have to conclude it will be a very good thing both for the viewers and for Jolie's career," the source added.

Heidi Montag Gets Political With Angelina Jolie, John McCain

By Lynda Johnson
Apr 2, 2008

Like Angelina Jolie, MTV "The Hills" star Heidi Montag is bucking the Hollywood trends of supporting liberal politicians. After a recent trip to Iraq, made when she was several months pregnant, Angelina returned to pen a column for "The Washington Post" that said she supported the troops and their mission and she wanted the to be allowed to finish their job.

That means that she is the exact opposite of Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Both of them have promised a quick withdrawal of US troops if they are elected in November and they are willing to leave the refugees from the region to fend for themselves. That won't sit well with Jolie.

John McCain has promised to allow the generals to keep the troops at work and in the region as long as they feel they need to win the war and get the job completed and that sounds a whole lot like Angelina Jolie. It should be noted that her non-husband Brad Pitt is a huge Barack Obama supporter. Now Jolie is getting a little support from Heidi Montag.

According to Us Weekly magazine, the woman that was dubbed a "feminist hero" by the McCain hating New York Times is a Republican and is throwing her cleavage, uh support, behind the Arizona senator. "I'm voting for John McCain," she tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now. "I'm a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience," she explains.

And shockingly, Heidi gets it. Many Hollywood types believe we actually care what they think on politics but she is under no such illusion. "I don't think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for," she tells the weekly entertainment magazine.

Angelina Jolie to star in romantic comedy?

Jamie Dornan is desperate to star in a romantic comedy with Angelina Jolie. The Northern Irish heartthrob - the ex-boyfriend of British actress Keira Knightley - revealed the 'A Mighty Heart' actress is his perfect leading lady.

He told BANG Showbiz: "I'd love to do a romantic comedy with Angelina Jolie - she's kind of flawless to me. I don't think she'd want to do a romantic comedy with me though - I'm not sure that would be her bag!

"Sometimes I think it's harder to be a leading man in a romantic comedy if you're not English. I think the English do that really well - that sort of slightly camp, slightly pathetic thing. I'm not saying Colin Firth or Hugh Grant are pathetic - far from it! I think they are both great. But I would like to have a crack at it."

Despite starring in Hammer Films' first movie for 30 years, 'Beyond The Rave' - which is being shown in 'webisodes' on myspace.tv - Jamie insists he is not a fan of the horror genre.
He added: "No! I'm not a horror fan at all. I mean, I like them, but I would never go out of my way to see them, and would never call myself a horror fan. I enjoy the odd film. Now and again I see one I enjoy, I rarely watch one I don't enjoy, but it's just not really my scene. I'm not really as dark as that."

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie sighted in Bastrop County

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are rumored to be in Bastrop County on the set of a new movie. They are supposed to be in Smithville, a town that calls itself ‘Texas best kept secret,’ but the secret of celebrity sightings may be out now.

Locals are buzzing about the movie, which Pitt is rumored to star in, but protective of the stars.
Star sightings abound in neighboring Bastrop though, where some claim to have spotted Jolie at a Wal-Mart.

“Well, I'm curious. And so we'll see how it comes out. I'm sure we'll get to see them somewhere somehow and that'll be fun, and that's an excitement that usually doesn't come to a town like us,” Smithville resident Sandy Hightower said.

The movie is called "Tree of Life." This isn’t the first time that Smithville has been a film star; the town was featured in the movie “Hope Floats”, which came out in 1998 and starred Harry Connick Jr. and Austinite Sandra Bullock.

The movie is listed to be in “pre-production” on the movie web site IMDB. According to that web site, the movie will also star Sean Penn, and is written and directed by Terrence Malick, who also and directed “The Thin Red Line.”

Angelina Jolie Secret Stimulates Big Dollar Interest

Angelina Jolie has the entertainment world buzzing again. The actress has everyone wondering if she is again pregnant and if she will need extra maternity leave when the baby (or babies as it is reported she may be pregnant with Brad Pitt̢۪s twins) arrives. She also may have some sort of a battle brewing poolside with Jennifer Aniston as both are scheduled for a pre-Oscars party.

So many secrets and when did everyone get so interested in Jolie again? She made the move by appearing at an awards show in a brown cover up that had everyone buzzing that she was knocked up. She then took a secret trip to Iraq and caught criticism or praise for endangering this "baby" depending on the point of view of the critics.

But will all of these secrets raise big time dollars? If she is indeed pregnant it could be a massive record setting photo sale. There were reports by Us Weekly magazine that she was going to let loose of the "confirmed" pregnancy report and a baby bump photo and sell it for charity. While we are all still waiting, a savvy Jennifer Lopez has reportedly secured a deal for $6 million for the first photos and one would guess some sort of exclusive interview when she finally gives birth to her twins.

That's huge money and if she is really getting that much, how many dollars would Jolie make off her baby photos? Some are already speculation ten million bucks. Is it worth it?

Cover Story: Angelina's Joy Is Jen's Pain

“It's been three years since they split," one pal of Jen Aniston reveals to OK! about the actress' divorce from Brad Pitt. "But she's still so far from getting over him, it's tragic.” And on Feb. 23, when Jen, Brad, and the woman he left her for, Angelina Jolie, will all take part in hosting a charity event at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the tension in the room will most certainly be palpable. Sources tell OK! the former Friends star is now gearing up for the moment she'll have to say hello to Angelina, or as she chooses to put it, "that person who ruined my life."

Making the matter more stressful for Jen, who turned 39 on Feb. 11, is that she's being constantly bombarded with images of a glowing, pregnant Angelina. “Jen is desperate for kids,” says a source. “She can feel her biological clock ticking and must be scared that she’s left it too late. She keeps saying that she wishes she had kids with Brad and that, if she had, maybe things would be different.”

Angelina's lips top plastic surgery request

Eyes like Katie Holmes, the sultry pout of Angelina Jolie and a body like Jessica Biel are the looks most plastic surgery patients in Beverly Hills desire, according to a new survey. The specific attributes of the three actresses topped the list of the annual 'Hollywood's Hottest Looks' survey by the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

According to doctors Richard Fleming and Toby Mayer, their clients ask for plastic surgery not to look exactly like a specific star, but to replicate a distinct feature of various celebrity faces and bodies. The most requested look-alike female nose was that of 'Grey's Anatomy' star Katherine Heigl, while British actress Keira Knightley was tops in the cheek department, and Paris Hilton had the most sought-after skin.

The features most desired by men were Leonardo DiCaprio's nose, soccer player David Beckham's body and the blue eyes of the latest James Bond actor, Daniel Craig. George Clooney's cheeks and Matt Damon's lips also got top billing. Dr Fleming said: "Our patients continue to turn to Hollywood to raise their standard of beauty. Our patients want to look rested, energetic and, most of all, youthful like the celebrities they see in glossy magazines."

Angelina Jolie – Is a Baby on the Way?

If Angelina Jolie isn't pregnant, maybe there's some truth to rumors that the star is set to adopt again. Despite the denials, Angie just keeps on glowing - which makes us think she has something to be excited about. Even Brad's rep won't answer the question with an outright "no". He told Us Weekly: "They are not, to the best of my knowledge." Maybe he suspects something too.

If her recent curves are signs of a baby bump, the globetrotting mama can't indulge in risky treats like sushi and champagne. And when Brangelina headed to hot sushi restaurant Katsuya on January 12th, Angelina didn't touch the fish. Instead of munching on sushi (which is dangerous for pregnant women) she settled for a cooked beef dish instead. So if they're planning to keep this a secret, Brad is going to have to quit indulging too. Angie's avoidance is just too conspicuous.

Angelina Jolie Is Most Requested Father's Day Gift

Unconfirmed sources report that a poll taken by the men's magazine Handy Dads has determined that Angelina Jolie is what most men want for Fathers Day. The poll taken last month shows that dads prefer Angelina Jolie over power tools by a four to one margin. The second most wanted gift for fathers day, formerly number one, is the Delta 10 In. 5500RPM Table Saw Model 4286746.

"This is a huge surprise" says Handy Dads magazine publisher Buck Fuller. "We have been taking this poll every year and power tools have always dominated the top five gifts men want. Angelina Jolie capturing the top slot has got a lot us scratching our heads around here. I mean, sure she is hot as heck, but a Delta 10 In. 5500RPM Table Saw Model 4286746 is a great saw. We are going to have to recheck the data and examine our sampling technique for next year's to poll to assure it's accuracy."

"This result just doesn't surprise me." Says home renovation expert Bob Vila. "I've been watching the demographics of this poll for years have identified trends that explain what happened. Over that past few years the proliferation of hot chicks on home renovation television shows has linked power tools and total babes together in the minds of handy dads. There is nothing more appealing to dads than an attractive woman using a big power tool. Angelina Jolie with a Delta 10 In. 5500RPM Table Saw Model 4286746, that's heaven."

The rest of the list can be found in the latest issue of Handy Dads magazine in the special Fathers Day pull out section. We also recommend a visit to the Handy Dads web site for exclusive photos of Angelina Jolie, the Delta 10 In. 5500RPM Table Saw Model 4286746, and the other gifts most wanted by dads this Fathers Day.

Jolie tops celebrity do-gooder poll, Madonna flops

Angelina Jolie is the celebrity do-gooder the public most respects due to her work as a UN goodwill ambassador, according to a recent Reuters AlertNet poll. Reuters AlertNet is a humanitarian news and information website run by Reuters Foundation. The Hollywood star beat U2 singer Bono, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Microsoft founder and philanthropist Bill Gates for the top ranking in the online survey of public perceptions of celebrity altruism.

In contrast, Madonna was voted the celebrity do-gooder people most love to hate, despite her work raising money for Malawian orphans. The pop icon's image was hit by claims she used her fame and wealth to circumvent Malawi's adoption rules. "The results underline how in a few short years Jolie has transformed her image from tattooed wild woman to humanitarian heroine," said Reuters AlertNet Deputy Editor Tim Large.

"As for Madonna, many of those polled seemed to feel her work helping orphans has been tarnished by the circumstances surrounding her own adoption of a Malawian child." More than 600 people around the world took part in the poll conducted by Reuters AlertNet. Paris Hilton was slammed for her plan to swap partying for philanthropy with a trip to Rwanda that was later postponed, the poll resulted in a mixed message for Bono, with voters split over whether they love or loathe his advocacy work.

Oprah Winfrey and Bob Geldof voted onto “least respected” list, while Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and Kofi Annan were praised for their out-of-office humanitarian work. Mia Farrow, Don Cheadle and Brad Pitt were all lauded for their Darfur advocacy.
